Things appear to be going well with our 25 man raids at the moment.

The Obsidian Sanctum has been cleared , along with 10 bosses in 25 man Naxx. As long as we get the right sign ups I see no reason why we shouldnt be working on KT this coming raiding reset and maybe eevn taking our first peek at Malygos.

Screen shots and loot lists to follow , but lets make sure we keep up the excellent work on our raid nights.

Hey there Northwind Gale member! Welcome to your new home, the new Northwind Gale website!

Well it was about time wasn't it? The trusty old site was well loved but was starting to look a little long in the tooth, so we thought we would get a fresh start for Wrath Of The Lich King.

Apart from the new look there are loads of new features like guild polls and an interactive recruitment system.

The raid and DKP sections are still here but with a new look and easier to read layout and filters - you can now view your DKP standings by armour type and role. For safty reasons you still have to enter username and password which are the usual ones except that the - has been removed from the password.

The forums have also be given an overhaul and are now powered by the sexy phpbb3 which gives us loads of new features. You'll need to re-register with the website before you can use forums so create and account in the green box on the right. This also creates your login for the raid signup page.

There are also loads of new things coming like:

• ItemStats on the Forums soon you'll be able to get ItemStats like this [Gorehowl] on the forums.
• Better Raid Progression tracker. The raid progression in that box in the upper right will soon be replaced by an a dynamic interacive one.
• Screenies section. There will be a section where you can upload your screenies directy the websites imageshow viewer.
• And many more...

As you all have noticed the name Eoin has been poping up quite frequently lately. A fair amount of our members also know that this is our old guild leader Gaeb now playing his warrior. For those of you that don't know the entire story here is a fast summary:

One week after World of Warcraft was released Gaeb, a warrior named Jessian and myself created Northwind Gale. Only a few people from back then are still among us, I belive Talloni has the longest NWG history apart from Gaeb and myself.

So the release date has been published and we are all very excited about November 13th and beyond. What will the new instances be like? When are the first people going to enter a 10 man instance? How long will it take for us to get to point where we can start 25 man raids? And will there be enough money sinks for Tam to actually go broke? There are a lot of unanswered questions right now, but the leadership of Northwind Gale has been doing some thinking...
